Slow day today but we like the Wildcats.

Sticking with college ball today as we went 2-0 yesterday and struggled in baseball.

Friday

Although we went 2-1 it was still disappointing that we did not hit our 25 star play. After a promising start with 0 first quarter points the second qtr was a disaster. Just got to take it like a man, can't win them all, and bounce back today.

College Football

MLB

25 Stars

Blue Jays- -117- Unreal that you can get this price with of the hottest pitchers lately (Burnett) in baseball facing a man (Pavano) who has only pitched in three games since 2005. (Note: I was misinformed last night by reliable Yahoo Sports saying that Halladay was the starter, even though it is Burnett this is still a 25 star bet)

20 Stars

Dodgers- -114- Great price too as the Dodgers lineup is designed to hammer lefties.

College Football

20 Stars-
SMU at Rice OVER 69- It's that high for a reason and it will still clear it, these offenses will explode in week 1.

Temple -7

Thursday Plays (College Football is here!)

Solid 2-1 day yesterday. Got a huge college football game and some baseball plays.

College Football

25 Stars-

Oregon State at Stanford-UNDER 45.5 - Both of these defenses are LOADED with major question marks at offense.

Stanford Defense- Stanford has nine returning starters at defense. They are extremely talented at linebacker led by Clinton Snyder coming off a tackles, eight sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss season.
Stanfords offense has some retooling to do. Quarterback T.C. Ostrander and wide receivers Evan Moore and Mark Bradford have graduated and that leaves some big questions in the passing game.
Oregon State Defense- The Beavers rush defense was the best in the nation last year. The pass defense will be much improved with Keenan Lewis, Brandon Hughes and Al Afalava returning starters and all seniors.
Oregon State Offense- The passing game last season was pitiful and will not improve this year. Sean Canfield and Lyle Moevao both had opportunities to boost the offensive production, but Canfield threw just nine touchdowns and had 15 interceptions. Moevao had a worse ratio, tallying two touchdowns and six picks. All everything back Yvenson Bernard will surely be missed.

MLB

20 Stars- Yankees -120

15 Stars- Braves +111

Wednesday

One day away from college football get ready to load up.

20 Stars

Royals-109- Opponents have hit Rangers pitcher hard on the road this year 9.00 ERA while batting .364 while Bannister (although having a down year compared to his break out year last year) has been effective at home with a 3.79 ERA

Yankees-Sox Over 10.5- Two great lineups, two weak pitchers will equal runs

Cardinals -130 Cardinals need a big win here and will get it done with Wainright (3.04 ERA on the hill at home)

Tuesday

Big win yesterday on our MLB bet of the month. College football is right around the corner and football is where we make a killing.

20 Star-

Cubs-Pirates Under 8.5- Ian Snell has been red hot lately coming off a 7 inning 0 runs performance at St Louis. Carlos Zambrano is the cubs go to guy. Expect a low scoring game.

Rays-Blue Jays Under 7- Halladay vs Shields will lead to a low score. The Rays best hitters are on the DL and the Blue Jays have been last in most hitting categories.

Indians at Tigers Over 8.5- Tigers are the worst pitching team in baseball. Today they bring up a AAA pitcher. Cliff Lee, despite pitching a brilliant year, got hit hard against the Tigers last game (5 innings 6 earned runs {worst outing of the season}) and has a 5.46 career ERA vs them. Expect some runs.

Monday

MLB bet of the month is today. Big day today and we gurantee a winning day if you follow our picks

25 Stars
MLB BET OF THE MONTH
Colorado vs San Fran Under 7- Two young studs on the mound today facing offenses that have been weak this year and playing in San Fran which is one of the best pitcher's parks. We love the under and it is our MLB bet of the month. We gurantee a low scoring game today. We are so confident this goes under that this is worth 3 25 star plays. (Three wins or three loses) Bet big!

20 Stars
Kansas City -130-
Gil Meche is clearly the superior pitcher in this matchup as Feldman's last road start he gave up 12 runs in 2.2 innings.
San Diego +101- Great value with peavy at home. Don't see him as an underdog in this position too often.

Sunday, August 24, 2008

Sunday

25 Star

Red Sox-Blue Jays- UNDER 8- Dice K vs Burnett will lead to few runs being scored here. JD Drew is out again which will hurt the sox producing runs. Also take note that Burnett has been dominant against the Blue Jays with a 4-0 1.98 career ERA against themm.

20 Star

Diamonbacks -110

Saturday

Another big day yesterday with two wins.

20 Star

Nationals-Cubs Over 10.5- Just like yesterday the wind is blowing out to right, center at 9 MPH. You have to play the wind once again. Expect Odalis Perez to be hit hard by this Cubs lineup with the Nationals getting there share of runs too.

15 Star

Pirates- Brewers Under 9- Pittsburg's two best hitteres McClouth and Doumit are both doubtful to play. Meanwhile the Brew Crew have struggled hitting lefties this year and under 9 is a solid bet.

Rangers -130- Rangers avoid the sweep here with their best pitcher going. Hank Blalock will give them a boost as he returns.

Friday, August 22, 2008

Friday

20 Stars

Cubs-Nationals OVER 11.5 runs- It is a lot of runs but you have to play the wind in Wrigley Field. When it's out to left at 15 mph like it will be this afternoon than the over is the play.

15 Stars

Mets-Astros Under 7.5 runs- Oswalt (who has pitched better lately) vs Santana will lead to few runs being scored.

Thursday, August 21, 2008

Thursday

25 Star Play

Dodgers -200 - In the heat of the NL West race the Dodgers have some solid value here as they will not get swept at home to the Rockies. They have Derek Lowe going today and are facing an inconsistent lefthander in De La Rosa. The Dodgers lineup is loaded to face lefties. Since it is -200 than a loss will count as 2 and a win as 1 for this 25 star play.

20 Star Play

Padres-Dbacks UNDER 8- Two of the worst offenses in the NL have been putting up good numbers this series with both games going over. Tonight will be different as Brandon Webb at home should dominate the Padres lineup. Came close to making it a 25 star play as it is a very solid play.

Wednesday, August 20, 2008

Wednesday

Not a good day yesterday as we lost our 25 Star Play to make it 24-11 now; we will rebound today.

20 Star
San Fran Giants -121-

Kansas City Royals -115

15 Star
Dodgers Rockies UNDER 7.5

Tuesday, August 19, 2008

Tuesday

Great day yesterday hitting the over and the +190 Giants.

25 Star Play

Seattle Mariners -107- Talk about great value. You are getting the most promising young pitcher in the league (Felix Hernandez) who is 4th in the league in ERA (3.04) at -107. The opposing pitcher is a rookie (Clayton Richard) with a 9.74 ERA with opposing hitters batting .379 against him. Yes the White Sox have the better offense but their such a difference in the pitching matchup that the Mariners get it done.

Monday, August 18, 2008

Monday

Sorry over the weekend we had some technical issues back at it today.

20 Stars

LA Angels vs Tampa Bay Rays OVER 9- The Angels throw their worst pitcher in their rotation while the Rays young Sonnanstine will have to face the best lineup in baseball. Runs will be scored here and the over is the play.

San Fran Giants +190 at Atlanta Braves- Way too much value in this game to pass up. Both teams have thrown in the towel and Braves starter Jorge Campillo has given up 10 earned runs in his last 2 starts. When you are getting double the value on a game like this you must take advantage.

Friday, August 15, 2008

Friday

Big 25 Star Win last night to make our current streak at 4 games.

20 Star

Cardinals at Reds Over 9.5- Two pitchers who have struggled (Arroyo 5.44 ERA- Thompson 4.34) having to pitch in one of the best hitting parks in all of baseball. Look for some runs to be scores in this one.

Toronto +105- Shocked the Blue Jays are underdogs here with a Cy Young pitcher in Halladay on the hill vs a journey man veteran with a 4.53. Gotta love the value in the pitching matchup.

Thursday, August 14, 2008

Thursday August 14th

25 Star Play

BREWERS-PADRES- UNDER 6.5 - The 25 Star plays are our bread and butter. Load up on this one. Two of the best pitchers in the game (Peavy and Sheets) in a ballpark that is designed for pitching. Add in the fact that San Diego has the worst offense in all of the major leagues and the Brewers are without their best hitter in Ryan Braun. Expect a very low scoring game.

Wednesday, August 13, 2008

Wednesday

20 Star
Oakland A's -135- Too good of a price for this seasons best pitcher (Duchscherer) at home against a Rays team that just had to send two of its top hitters (Longoria and Crawford) to the DL.

15 Star
Seattle +135- Another great value bet getting Felix Hernandez at a great price. Solid pick.

Tuesday, August 12, 2008

Tuesday August 12

Nice 2-1 day yesterday

MLB

20 Star
Padres +104
Rockies -125
Phillies Dodgers UNDER 7

August 11th 2008

VEGAS EDGE HAS RETURNED

We had taken a lot of time off and are ready to get back into it. Good luck on baseball today and football season is right around the corner.

20 Stars

Twins -115 -Great price to go against a fading Yankee team with Ponson on the road.

Red Sox -128- Look for the Sox to come alive against this young lefty and Beckett to help keep them in the thick of things.

Giants-Astros OVER 9.5- It may be suprising to see the Giants ever have a total set this high but it is for good reason. Two pitchers (Backe, Sanchez) with high ERA's (5.35 and 4.64) having to pitch in one of the best hitter's parks in Minute Maid.
