The Horned Frogs are the only team who can stop BYU's Max Hall. This defense is nasty. They are the number one defense in the country in yards allowed. They have only allowed a mind boggling 19 rushing yards per game. TCU will control the tempo at home and come out with the win. Our Plays of the Month have been the money makers. Ohio State -18- With Pryor behind center, this offense will explode home against Purdue.

Oregon State -30- Washington State is a JOKE. Cal beat them by 63!, Oregon by 49!, and those were home games. On the road is going to be a BLOWOUT.

Florida -6- Tebow and company will get the job done against LSU. The Tigers are slightly overrated and don't be suprised if Florida wins this one by at least two scores.

Eastern Michigan (Pick)- Two bad teams in Army and Eastern Michigan but is Army is much worse. They have already lost to a 1AA school at home.

South Carolina -3- Spurrier gets a big win on the road against a Kentucky team that is nowhere near as good without Andre Woodson.

North Carolina -8.5- UNC is a sleeper, this will be your last chance to catch them before their stock gets higher.

Auburn -17- Arkansas is lucky that their September 13th matchup at Texas was postponed. Otherwise they would have been blown out four games in a row now. They are the bottom of the barrell in the SEC. They have not even been within 5 touchdowns since week 2. They do have two wins though, by 1 point to Louisiana-Monroe (who?) and 4 to Western Illinois (who?).

USC -28- The Trojans need to continue blowing teams out like they did against Oregan in order to get back into the Championship talk, they will Saturday.

Tulsa-SMU OVER 77.5 (And you thought yesterday's was high. Both punter's can party hard tonight, they won't be used tomorrow. Expect something to the tune of a 55-35 game. This one flies over.

They also put up 41 against Eastern Carolina (who shut down Vtech and West Virginia) UAB and Houston's defenses are ranked almost last in the country both giving up more than 400 yards of offense a game. Great day yesterday. Even though we lost our 25 star play we cleared the board with our 20 star plays going 4-0 including a +220 underdog. NCAA Bet of the month is today.

25 Star- Ball State-6.5 NCAA BET OF THE MONTH (WORTH THREE 25 STAR PLAYS)

I can not stress to you enough how much of an effect the loss of Navy quarterback Kaheaku-Enhada will have on this option attack offense. He runs it perfectly and he is listed as doubtful. Ball St should have no problems putting up points against a weak Navy defense and be able to contain the option attack. Go big on Ball State and remember this is worth either 3 wins or 3 losses.

Although we came up 15 units yesterday it was still frustrating to see our 25 star play struggle offensively yet again. In our only four losses on 25 star plays every one of them has gone way under and the game itself hasn't exceeded 5 runs. Getting shut out by the Rangers is as bad as it gets. Still we'll take the two 20 star wins to profit and ease the pain.

Redskins +4.5- The Giants have a completely different defensive look that won them the Super Bowl. Their losses of their big time players (Strahan, Osi) will hurt them tonight and this is a good spot to jump on the underdog. College Football

Oregon State at Stanford-UNDER 45.5 - Both of these defenses are LOADED with major question marks at offense.

Stanford Defense- Stanford has nine returning starters at defense. They are extremely talented at linebacker led by Clinton Snyder coming off a tackles, eight sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss season.
Stanfords offense has some retooling to do. Quarterback T.C. Ostrander and wide receivers Evan Moore and Mark Bradford have graduated and that leaves some big questions in the passing game.
Oregon State Defense- The Beavers rush defense was the best in the nation last year. The pass defense will be much improved with Keenan Lewis, Brandon Hughes and Al Afalava returning starters and all seniors.
Oregon State Offense- The passing game last season was pitiful and will not improve this year. Sean Canfield and Lyle Moevao both had opportunities to boost the offensive production, but Canfield threw just nine touchdowns and had 15 interceptions. Moevao had a worse ratio, tallying two touchdowns and six picks. All everything back Yvenson Bernard will surely be missed.

Indians at Tigers Over 8.5- Tigers are the worst pitching team in baseball. Today they bring up a AAA pitcher. Cliff Lee, despite pitching a brilliant year, got hit hard against the Tigers last game (5 innings 6 earned runs {worst outing of the season}) and has a 5.46 career ERA vs them. Expect some runs.

Expect Odalis Perez to be hit hard by this Cubs lineup with the Nationals getting there share of runs too. 15 Star Pirates- Brewers Under 9- Pittsburg's two best hitteres McClouth and Doumit are both doubtful to play. Meanwhile the Brew Crew have struggled hitting lefties this year and under 9 is a solid bet. Rangers -130- Rangers avoid the sweep here with their best pitcher going. Hank Blalock will give them a boost as he returns.

Seattle Mariners -107- Talk about great value. You are getting the most promising young pitcher in the league (Felix Hernandez) who is 4th in the league in ERA (3.04) at -107. The opposing pitcher is a rookie (Clayton Richard) with a 9.74 ERA with opposing hitters batting .379 against him. Yes the White Sox have the better offense but their such a difference in the pitching matchup that the Mariners get it done.

LA Angels vs Tampa Bay Rays OVER 9- The Angels throw their worst pitcher in their rotation while the Rays young Sonnanstine will have to face the best lineup in baseball. Runs will be scored here and the over is the play.

San Fran Giants +190 at Atlanta Braves- Way too much value in this game to pass up. Both teams have thrown in the towel and Braves starter Jorge Campillo has given up 10 earned runs in his last 2 starts. When you are getting double the value on a game like this you must take advantage.

Toronto +105- Shocked the Blue Jays are underdogs here with a Cy Young pitcher in Halladay on the hill vs a journey man veteran with a 4.53. Gotta love the value in the pitching matchup.

BREWERS-PADRES- UNDER 6.5 - The 25 Star plays are our bread and butter. Load up on this one. Two of the best pitchers in the game (Peavy and Sheets) in a ballpark that is designed for pitching. Add in the fact that San Diego has the worst offense in all of the major leagues and the Brewers are without their best hitter in Ryan Braun. Expect a very low scoring game.

I will admit that we got very lucky with Sasha's three pointer, he was however the reason the Spurs almost pulled an amazing backdoor cover as he gave away a careless turnover leading to a Parker layup with 23 seconds. Spurs first quarter nearly killed the play but we had confidence that Lakers would take the lead back and extend their lead. Anyway great win for all the people that paid for a pick and we will keep it up.

The 25 Star Special are the Washington Wizards at -5 over the Cleveland Cavs. Despite heavy action on the Cavs, the lines makers have not moved the line. They are a force at home at 25-16 (should be much higher as they were without Butler, Arenas, and Jamison for a bunch of those losses) Those three will light it up tonight at home. Cleveland does not have the firepower beside Lebron to be able to match the points the Wizards will put up. Do not be surprised to see an absolute blowout. The last time these two teams played in Washington when the Wizards were healthy they won 105-86 and that was without Arenas. Bet the house on the Wizards. BONUS: Raptors -4 is a great play as well. Not as dominant as the Wizards but a great bet to throw some money on.

Early Look At College Basketball Futures

These are the current odds to win the 2008- 2009 NCAAB Championship. College basketball is a lot more difficult than college football because of the upsets in the tournament. Let's take a stab at it.

Safe Bet: UNC +650- If you are thinking about taking the Tar Heels grab it now because it will only go up. I think Psycho T returns for another year and that will return pretty much their whole team with some impact freshmen coming in.

Sucker Bet: UCLA +650- They are going to be hurting because of early entries. Their three best players Love, Westbrook, and Collison have a great chance of going to the NBA.

Solid Bet: Ohio State +1200 - Will have a high seed possibly a one seed because the Big 10 will be a joke once again. Also, remember the name BJ Mullens, a 7 foot true post player. He will be a great compliment to their other 7 footer Koufos who is an excellent outside shooter.

Unbelievable Value: Texas +1500- No team will return more players than they will. Also things will get easier with Beasley, Deandre Jordan, Kansas trio of Arthur-Rush-Chalmers out of the Big 12.
